3. Mountain Day! When you receive your Mountain Day email notice from the Alumnae Association (we will send you a reminder too) please join us at Ruby Jewel Ice Cream at 3713 North Mississippi Avenue, Portland, OR 97227. We will aim to get together at 18:37 (or 6:30 PM for those who are less particular) to reminisce and visit with each other! Also for Alums in Ashland and Eugene, if you would like to name a spot and send us an email we’d be happy to announce your get together as well!

6. Bring on the leadership/volunteer offers and ideas for the club! There are an infinite number of ways we can enjoy each other’s company and MHC spirit! To keep the club operating smoothly, and to expand the type of events we hold, we ask any of you who are interested in helping with the operation of the Club or in holding a particular event to please contact us. If you have an idea and/or would like to lead in any area please say the word and we can help you get into action. Many people have expressed a desire to focus on networking/career building efforts; it would be great to hear more ideas on that. And so much more! We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Deborah Olsen ’65 for all her efforts in organizing the Mount Holyoke Club of Portland Book Club. Also we would like to thank Kristin Hansen ’11 who has stepped forward to help the club communications and administrative capacities.
